Rob Petrin has spent over 20 years at the intersection of technology and people — building websites, teaching in classrooms, coaching teams, and organizing communities.
Rob began building websites in the late 1990s during the early days of Web 1.0 — first as hobby projects, then professionally. Today he works with enterprise and startup clients alike, specializing in WordPress and digital marketing strategy.
As Technical Delivery Director at Astute Communications, Rob helps enterprise digital marketing clients achieve their website goals. He also runs Petrin Development Services, supporting startups and solopreneurs with brand-building and digital growth.
Rob has been an active organizer and participant in the WordPress community for years — speaking at local meetups and WordCamp events, and serving as a connector between developers and the people they serve.
Throughout the 2010s, Rob spent nearly a decade as a classroom educator — teaching Social Studies and Special Education to grades 6–12 across central Massachusetts. That experience shapes everything he does: clear communication, patience, and meeting people where they are.
A three-sport high school athletic coach (soccer, basketball, softball), Rob brings the same energy to professional coaching and training — helping individuals and teams build skills, develop confidence, and reach their goals.
